| Abstract: | Analyses the growth and development of school education research productivity in terms of publication output as reflected in Science Citation Index (SCI) for the period 1989– 2013. It includes 66512 publications from Globe, including 57776 articles, 2768 proceedings papers, 2093 reviews, 1297 editorial materials, 1276 Book reviews etc. from 21947 institutions. English as the dominant language to publish 92.67 percent of the record, 17.97 percent of the records published by single authors and the remaining are multi authors and the degree of collaboration is 0.82. Most of the prolific authors are from the highly productive institutions.
