In this article, we investigate the trends of cited articles and their recency value, weighted recency, and average weighted recency for the articles published in the subject of Forensic Pathology from 1989 to 2020 by using statistical methods. It is clear from this study that articles published in 2019 had a greater weighted rate of recency of citation than those published in the other two years. As a result, the articles published in 2011 are more recent than those published in the previous two years.en_US
